ORGANIC MACADAMIA NUT OIL

Conatural’s Organic Macadamia Nut Oil is a light weight, medium nutty oil. Its chemical profile is very similar to that of human sebum. The nut is approximately 70% fat (among some of the highest found in nuts) and contains high levels of Omega-7 Palmitoleic acid (a valuable fatty acid with antioxidant properties) as well as protein, niacin (Vitamin B3 and thiamine (Vitamin B1), and essential elements such as calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium. Moreover, its Palmitoleic and Oleic acid profile, makes it the perfect choice for a mature or dry skin. The phytosterols found in the oil are protective, aiding in skin recovery, and helping to reduce itchiness and inflammation. The linoleic fatty acid content in the oil makes it great for a skin that has difficulty retaining moisture. It is an ideal skin conditioner.
